For the fans who dream of riding in Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey on The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, maybe it’s a relief to know that it won’t have the 3D effect anymore.
Constantly criticised for preventing the full enjoyment of the animation because of the dark glasses, the 3D caused a few cases of nausea and dizziness as well.
But fans won’t have to worry about it in California, where they got rid of the 3D and use exclusively the 2D animation, apparently the same one used in Orlando.
About the change, Universal declared to Behind the Thrills that they evaluated the theme park experiences continually and enabling the guest to enjoy Forbidden Journey without the 3D is just one example of how they are assessing various opportunities.
What do you think? Is the attraction really better without the 3D?
