After a lot of mystery behind the #FollowTheSpiders hashtag, Warner Bros. finally gave details about what the campaign was about. The Warner Bros. Studio Tour London – The Making of Harry Potter will offer its visitors the opportunity to take a look at the Forbidden Forest, opening on March 31.

The expansion invites the visitors to defy Professor Dumbledore’s orders and adventure through the Forbidden Forest. Amongst 19 trees with over 12 feet in diameter, one of Hagrid’s original costume with a lantern in hands will welcome the guests, who can also control the forest’s weather.

A full size model of Buckbeak will be on display as well, enabling fans to see from up close all the work involved in taking the Hippogriff to the big screen, since every feather had to be glued individually. To those who go deeper into the forest, Aragog, the Acromantula can be found along with his arachnid family.

Stuart Craig, production designer, John Richardson, special effects supervisor and Nick Dudman, creature and makeup effects designer, and many members of the Harry Potter film series’ crew worked together to create the expansion, making sure the features are as close as possible to what is seen on screen.

The tour through the Forbidden Forest is already included on the regular ticket. Tickets must be bought and booked in advance on the official site, since they’re not available at the attraction.
