Ariana Grande revealed on Tuesday (10) night that she will be part of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast soundtrack, new film starring Emma Watson.

The revelation was subtle, when the singer published on her Instagram a picture of her in studio with rose emoji, the film’s trademark. Ariana also tagged the singer John Legend and the film’s official Instagram account, which reposted it.

We still don’t know which song Ariana and John will sing, but it’s worth reminding that Emma herself will have her voice featured on the soundtrack. One of the songs was revealed on Sunday (8) on a teaser trailer.

Directed by Bill Condon (The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn) and written by Evan Spiliotopoulos (The Huntsman: Winter’s War) and Stephen Chbosky (The Perks of Being a Wallflower), Disney’s Beauty and the Beast hits the cinemas on March 17th.

UPDATE:

It was confirmed by “Oh My Disney” that Ariana and John will sing the film’s theme song.

Written by Howard Ashman and Alan Menken for the animated version of 1991, the song was originally sung by Angela Lansbury in her part as Mrs. Potts. The song won an Oscar, a Golden Globe and a Grammy that year.

The official soundtrack for Beauty and the Beast will be available on March 10th.
