The original cast of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, responsible for the premiere in London and on Broadway, is leaving the production in March next year. The actors who will take part in the new cast have already been announced.

The golden trio will be played by James Snyder as Harry Potter, Jenny Jules as Hermione Granger and Matt Mueller as Ron Weasley. Diane Davis and Jonno Roberts will portray Ginny Weasley and Draco Malfoy, respectively.

Nicholas Podany will play Albus Potter, while Bubba Weiler plays Scorpius Malfoy. Rose Granger-Weasley will be portrayed by Nadia Brown.

Aaron Bartz, Will Carlyon, Kimberly Dodson, Patrick Du Laney, Sara Farb, Jonathan Gordon, Steve Haggard, Eva Kaminsky, Jack Koenig, Rachel Leslie, Sarita Amani Nash, Fiona Reid, Katherine Reis, Kevin Matthew Reyes, Antoinette Robinson, Stephen Spinella, Tom Patrick Stephens, Erica Sweany e Karen Janes Woditsch também join in the production. The actors Brian Thomas Abraham, Olivia Bond, Stephen Bradbury, James Brown III, Lauren Nicole Cipoletti, Zoe Feigelson, Jack Hatcher, Edward James Hyland, Joey LaBrasca, Landon Maas, James Romney e Alex Weisman remain in the cast.

The new cast members of the second year of the play on Broadway

The last presentation of the original cast, with Jamie Parker, Paul Thornley, Noma Dumezweni, Poppy Miller, Alex Price, Sam Clemmett and Anthony Boyle, happens on March 17, 2019, while the new cast starts the presentations on March 20, 2019. The tickets for both presentations are already available.

Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, awarded by both audience and critics, has been played at Palace Theatre, in London, and at Lyric Theatre, in New York. The production will also première on January 2019 at Princess Theatre, in Melbourne, Australia, and at Curran Theatre, in San Francisco, California. In 2020, Germany will be the first non-English speaking country to host the play.
