Actress Noma Dumezweni, known amongst Potterheads for playing Hermione Granger in the play Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, is the second celebrity to take part in the project in which stars read chapters from The Philosopher’s Stone during the COVID-19 quarantine.

The actress recorded a video reading the second chapter from the book, The Vanishing Glass, when Harry goes to the zoo with his cousin Dudley Dursley and, during their tour, the glass from the snakes exhibit disappears and Dudley falls into the artificial lake.

The videos are part of the project Harry Potter at Home, which gathers themed activities to entertain fans during the COVID-19 quarantine.

The reading project started last Tuesday (5) with the actor Daniel Radcliffe, who read the first chapter The Boy Who Lived. Other actors from the Wizarding World will be part of the project, like Eddie Redmayne (Newt Scamander) and Claudia Kim (Nagini).

Internation celebrities will also take part reading the 17 chapters from The Philosopher’s Stone. It has been already confirmed the participation of Dakota Fanning (Twilight Saga), ex-soccer player David Beckham, and the narrator from the British version from the Harry Potter audiobooks, Stephen Fry.
