J.K. Rowling’s official website published a note to clarify that the author is not writing new Harry Potter books.
The note denies news published in the worldwide media, which claimed that Rowling was writing four new books, whilst these titles are being written and published by the Pottermore team and do not include original texts from the author.
The books, which are an adaptation from the audiobook narrated by Natalie Dormer, will be inspired by the Harry Potter: a History of Magic exhibition, which was part of the celebrations for the 20th anniversary of The Philosopher’s Stone.
The first two volumes will be published on June 27th and can be purchased on Pottermore.
