Universal Orlando revealed details about the new projection show that will take place on the theme parks based in Orlando, that will feature scenes from the Harry Potter series.

Using state-of-the-art technology, Universal Orlando lagoon will host an immersive movie theater experience, combining panoramic screens with 120 dancing water fountains. The attraction will start on the next few months, during the north-american summer.

On an interview to the fan site The Leaky Cauldron, the senior director for Entertainment Creative Development at Universal Orlando, Mike Aiello, revealed some of the show’s attractions: “There will be a two minute section devoted to the brand that is Harry Potter. During the moment you hear ‘Wingardium Leviosa’ the entire lagoon – all media – will fill with feathers, just like Hermione did in the film. You’re going to hear ‘Incendio’, and the entire lagoon will erupt into media-based flame and pyrotechnics.”

The hyppogriff Buckbeak will also be part of the presentation, as on the scene from The Prisoner of Azkaban when Harry Potter flies over the Black Lake. “These films have amazing visuals. To be able to show Harry flying through the air on the Hippogriff, but on a water media platform that is extremely wide, we show that image in an epic way”, said the senior director.

Besides Harry Potter, the show will bring scenes of other Universal titles, as Despicable Me, Jurassic World and The Fast & the Furious.
