On the play’s premiere in London, Imogen told BBC that she wasn’t ready to release an album for the soundtrack yet, which contains not only special tracks made for the story, but also instrumental versions of her already known tracks, such as Half Life and Hide and Seek.
Besides Imogen Heap’s music, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child relies on Jack Thorne’s screenplay, based upon an original story by [J.K. Rowling], John Tiffany and Jack Thorne. The play premiered in 2016 at the Palace Theatre, in London, becoming an instant public and critics hit. The creative team is getting ready to take the show to the Lyric Theatre, on Broadway, in early 2018. The producers have also announced that the play will be presented in the Princess Theatre in Melbourne, Australia.
