Warner Bros. has confirmed today, July 3, via Pottermore, that the Fantastic Beasts sequel will begin in New York, head to London, and then on to Paris. The story is set in 1927, months after the magizoologist Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne) helped in the capture of Dark wizard Gellert Grindelwald (Johnny Depp).
Directed by David Yates with the screenplay by J.K. Rowling, the new Fantastic Beasts shooting starts today, with the return of the quartet composed by Newt, the Goldstein sisters Queenie and Tina, and the No-Maj Jacob Kowalski, whose memory had been erased. The film will be on theaters on November 16, 2018.
