Actress Jessica Williams, British comedian invited by [J.K. Rowling] to take part in The Crimes of Grindelwald, said in an interview to Mashable that there is no mistake in the Fantastic Beasts trailer.
“David Yates and Jo [wrote the script]. Who knows more about the Potter universe person than the person who created it? Nobody. Not a single person,” said the actress. The controversy came about because of a scene in which three people apparate in Hogwarts. According to Hogwarts: A History, and cited several times by Hermione Granger during Harry Potter, it is impossible to apparate within the school grounds. “So, like, LOL what do you mean?! Don’t you think that will addressed in film? Don’t you think there was a reason for it? Do you think you know more than she does on this subject?“, she fired back.
Jessica Williams was announced as part of the Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald cast last October. Her role, however, has yet to be revealed. According to Mashable, the actress will only make a special appearance, but will have a larger role in the other movies of the franchise, which will consist of three additional movies following Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald.
