A new virtual reality experience based on the Fantastic Beasts franchise was launched on January 23. A simple version of the app had been released last year. This update brings more creatures from The Wizarding World of J.K. Rowling.
To play, VR glasses and earphones are necessary. Once again, the user will be inside Newt Scamander’s magical suitcase and will be able to walk through his hut and areas that house some creatures such as the Niffler, the Bowtruckle and the Thunderbird. The player can also cast spells and interact with animals. The activities are dubbed by actor Eddie Redmayne, who plays the magizoologist Newt Scamander on the big screen.
Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them VR Experience is available for Vive, Daydream, Oculus and Gear.
