Until November 15th, Harry Potter fans who visit the Islands of Adventure park, at the Universal Orlando Resort complex, in the United States, will be able to enjoy a projection show about the Dark Arts.
During the show, titled Dark Arts at the Hogwarts Castle, a powerful spell is cast on the Hogwarts castle. It covers Hogsmeade in green light and fog while Death Eaters invade the local.
Hogwarts, on the other hand, will be attacked by Dementors, the Acromantula Aragog, mountain trolls, and Testrals, as well as Lord Voldemort himself. Meanwhile, trusted wizards are summoned to defend the castle, which will remain under attack until a powerful Patronus defeats the evil forces. See pictures of the production:
The performance counts with an exclusive soundtrack, inspired by the Harry Potter movies, that was created and conducted by William Ross, responsible for the adaptation and conduction of the soundtrack from Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets.
The show starts between 7:30 P.M. and 8 P.M. The projection show will not take place on September 26th and 28th, and October 10th. The program for the end of the season has not yet been released by the park. More information is available at the Universal Orlando’s official website.
Harry Potter shows
This is the third projection show created for the Hogwarts Castle. Universal Orlando already hosted the Nighttime Lights at Hogwarts show, which highlighted the houses of the Witchcraft and Wizardry school, and The Magic of Christmas at Hogwarts Castle, that brought Christmas themes to the parks.
The dark arts projections show debuted in March 2019, at the Wizarding World of Harry Potter in Hollywood, California.
