Dan Fogler, who plays no-maj Jacob Kowalski in the Fantastic Beasts franchise, will be responsible for narrating the audiobook Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald – Makers, Mysteries and Magic, a Pottermore original.
Written by Hana Walker-Brown and Mark Salisbury (author of The Case of Beasts: Explore the Film Wizardry of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them), the book was created from over a hundred hours of interviews with the members of the production crew, including Eddie Redmayne (Newt Scamander) and Jude Law (Alvo Dumbledore).
Throughout nine chapters, there is information about the construction of the 1927 Paris set, influences behind the design of new wands and the actors’ opinions about their characters, along with explanations about the connections between the Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts’ worlds. In interview to Pottermore, Dan Fogler explained the project:
Written by J.K. Rowling and directed by David Yates, Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald premieres on November 16 with Eddie Redmayne, Katherine Waterston, Alison Sudol, Dan Fogler, Jude Law and Johnny Depp in the lead roles.
