Harry Potter and the Cursed Child just extended their permanence at the West End, in London, until April of 2018. A new batch of tickets for the play, that are currently sold out until February of 2018, will be put on sale on January 23rd.
75,000 tickets will be released between February 7th and April 29th, 2018. As always, the tickets are priced from £15 per part of the play.
Produced by Sonia Friedman, Colin Allender and Harry Potter Theatrical Productions, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child is the eighth Harry Potter story and premiered officially at the Palace Theatre, in London, in July of 2016. Since then, is has been a success among critics and public.
Cursed Child took the “Best Play” award at the “Evening Standard Theatre Awards” and broke the nomination record at the “WhatsOnStage” awards, important British theatre award. Besides that, the play’s producer, Sonia Friedman, appears topping the list of the 100 most powerful people in theatre.
Written by Jack Thorne based on a new J.K. Rowling story, the play will also have its place on Broadway, in New York, starting in April of 2018.
