Pottermore announced that Andrew Lincoln, Rick Grimes on The Walking Dead, will be the one to narrate the audiobook of Quidditch Through The Ages. The launch is set to happen on March 15th (2018).
“The Wizarding World is one that I always wanted to get the chance to step into. What makes this project so special, is not only that it allowed me the opportunity to create something my kids love and enjoy, but it also supports great causes, like Comic Relief and Lumos”, says the actor that, besides voicing Kennilworthy Whisp, will also give life to all the stories of other authors featured in the book.
The audiobook will bring a special bonus: a Quidditch match with commentary by Ginny Weasley, voiced by Imogen Church, and Rita Skeeter, voiced by Anette Badland. There is no information yet if this bonus is brand new content or if it’s the 427th Quidditch World Cup’s final match between Brazil and Bulgaria.
The audiobook can be pre-ordered on audible.
