Rupert Grint, who played Ron Weasley in the Harry Potter series, will be part of the cast of Servant, the new psychological horror series by Indian director M. Night Shyamalan, who directed Unbreakable and Split. The show, expected to debut in the second half of 2019, is produced by Apple TV +, Apple’s new streaming service.
Servant will be divided into 10 episodes and its narrative will focus on a family who hires a babysitter to take care of their child. Over time, the family realizes that something is not right. Rupert will play the mysterious character Julian Pearce. The cast also has Lauren Ambrose (Where the Wild Things Are), Toby Kebbell (Fantastic Four), and Nell Tiger Free (Game of Thrones).
Rupert Grint has participated in other television series, such as The A.B.C. Murders (BBC One), inspired by Agatha Christie’s book, and Sick Note (Netflix).
