Pottermore, the digital platform created by J.K. Rowling in 2011, will no longer exist as the fans are used to. All articles, lists, and games available in the website will be transferred to Wizarding World, a new portal controlled by Pottermore and Warner Brothers’ teams, this one responsible for the Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts films.
The new website will be launched on Wednesday (15). The companies have not revealed details about the change and promised to surprise the fans. Pottermore hosts J.K. Rowling’s original texts, sorting tests for the Hogwarts Houses, Wand, and Patronus. The website also has an online store with e-books and collectibles. In 2015, the portal already went through a big change which removed lots of the interactive elements.
