During an interview to the British Daily Mail, [J.K. Rowling] revealed that she intends to release more ten books of the Comoran Strike Series, the one she writes under the pseudonym Robert Galbraith.

“Well I hope to God you do enjoy playing this character because I think I’ve got at least another ten books in me – so you could be locked in for quite a few years here. […] It was really important to me that we got the right people in front of the camera, and off. Because this could go on for a very long time. I hope it does, because I absolutely love writing the books”.
According to the actors, Rowling contributed with ideas during the filming, and kept hands-on with the script. She also told them what is going to happen in the fourth book of the series, Lethal White, which must come out soon.
The adaptation of The Cuckoo’s Calling will be released on BBC1 on August 27 and will have three episodes of 90 minutes each. The Silkworm is being adapted in two episodes, and the third book, Career of Evil, will also be adapted in the future.
