A version of Harry Potter’s invisibility cloak is already available in the stores in the United Kingdom. The product was developed by the company Wow! Stuff in partnership with Warner Bros. Consumer Products. The invisibility cloak will arrive in the United States on July 1st.
The product is called Invisibility Cloak Illusion and it works through a mobile phone app. Every cloak has a unique code that has to be indicated at the app so both work together using the green background technology making the person inside the cloak disappear, just like Harry in the movies. The app is compatible with phones that work on iOS 11 or superior and Android 5.0 or superior.
The Invisibility Cloak Illusion costs 60 pounds and is available at Smyth Toys and at the Harry Potter Shop at Platform 9 ¾. It comes with a small tripod and the app code. The product will soon be released in other countries like Canada, Australia, Germany, France, Spain, and Italy.
Wow! Stuff, the cloak’s developer, is already known for creating products based on the Harry Potter franchise like a Golden Snitch that flies, wands with light and picture frames with photos that replicate the moving pictures from the Wizarding World.
