Exclusive artwork with Patronus from Harry Potter will be auctioned in the United Kingdom in favor of the charity institution BookTrust, which is dedicated to getting children reading.
26 children’s books artists were invited to draw their versions of the magical guardian that protects the Wizards from the Dementors as shown in Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban.
Among the artists that are part of the campaign, are Jim Kay, responsible for the illustrated editions of the Harry Potter books, Eduardo Lima and Miraphora Lima, the graphic designers of the Wizarding World movies, and Chris Riddell, responsible for the British illustrated version of The Tales of Beedle, The Bard.
How to participate
To participate in the auction, that will be open until 18th of July, 2019, you just need to access the BookTrust‘s official website. You can see all the illustrations that are part of the campaign on Pottermore.
BookTrust is reading charity that is dedicated to getting children and teenagers reading. Each year we reach 3.4 million children across the UK with approximately five million books, resources, and support to help develop a love of reading
The campaign, called “Patronus on a Postcard”, is being organized by the Bloomsbury, the publisher responsible for Harry Potter in the United Kingdom.
