The Hogwarts Castle at The Wizarding World of Harry Potter parks in Florida and California, in the United States, will have a new show in 2019. The presentation Dark Arts at Hogwarts Castle is going to celebrate the Wizarding World‘s villains in a light projection show on the walls of the building. At Universal Studios Hollywood, in California, the show will take place nightly, from April 23 to April 28 and from May 25 to May 27. At Universal Orlando Resort’s, in Florida, there is no premiere date yet.
The light projection show will bring Death Eaters and some creatures, such as Aragog, Dementors, Mountain Trolls, and Thestrals to the castle. Lord Voldemort will try to dominate Hogwarts along with his Death Eaters until a Patronus spell is cast to protect the castle.
The show will be accompanied by an exclusive musical arrangement, conducted by William Ross and recorded by the London Symphonic Orchestra. The arrangement was based on the original scores composed by John Williams, Academy Award®-winning composer who composed the soundtracks of The Philosopher Stone, The Chamber of Secrets and The Prisoner of Azkaban.
