While talking to fans on Twitter, J.K. Rowling revealed that Lethal White will be the longest book of the Cormoran Strike series, for which she plans on writing over ten volumes under the pseudonym of Robert Galbraith.
“I had the idea for the plot [of Lethal White] in 2013, but it’s undergone huge revisions since then.” she said. “I plan a lot. This particular novel’s plan comprises a vast, complicated, colour-coded table showing all the suspects, with blue ink for clues and red ink for red herrings.”
Lethal White has no release date set. J.K. Rowling’s last novel was Career of Evil, Strike’s third volume, published in October of 2015. On October of 2016, the author revealed that she was writing another book besides Lethal White: the first novel under her name since Casual Vacancy (2012). In the meantime, Cormoran Strike got its own BBC TV adaptation – read more about it.
