BBC revealed, through its official Twitter, the release date for the TV series based on the Robert Galbraith novels – written by [J.K. Rowling]. The first part received the official title of Strike – The Cuckoo’s Calling and will premiere this month already, on the 27th.

The show is produced by Bronte Film & TV, J.K. Rowling’s production company. She is also the show’s executive producer, along with Neil Blair, Ruth Kenley-Letts and Elizabeth Kilgarriff. The adaptation of the first book should be three episodes long, starring Tom Burke as the mysterious Cormoran Strike and Holliday Grainger as Robin Ellacott, his secretary. As of yet, there are no announced dates of exhibition for the rest of the world.
