Pottermore revealed today, July 20th, that the illustrated version of Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone will be published as na e-book on Amazon Kindle..
Thanks to Motion Technology, the digital versions of Jim Kay’s illustrations will come to life: right on the cover we see na owl flying and smoke coming out of the Hogwarts Express. The e-book will also allow users to shut down the animations.
Compatible with Fire Tablets and the free Kindle apps for iOS and Android, the e-book will be released on September 5th, available only in english. The pre-sale is already available at Amazon UK and Amazon US
