Since [J.K. Rowling] announced the “Pottermore Presents” series it was expected that the new stories about the Wizarding World would enter several best-seller lists. What wasn’t expected, though, was that it would happen so quickly.
The three new eBooks, released only ten days ago, already occupy part of iBooks’ Top 10 best-sellers. According to Publishers Weekly, “Short Stories from Hogwarts of Heroism, Hardship and Dangerous Hobbies” is the best-selling book of the three, third place on the general list. “Hogwarts: An Incomplete and Unreliable Guide” ranks fourth, while “Short Stories from Hogwarts of Power, Politics and Pesky Poltergeists” comes right behind, closing the Top 5.
Besides being a success in other countries, the three new Wizard World eBooks took over the Top 3 of the Brazilian bookstore Livraria Cultura. This time, “Hogwarts: An Incomplete and Unreliable Guide” got first place, followed by “Short Stories from Hogwarts of Power, Politics and Pesky Poltergeists”, therefore leaving “Short Stories from Hogwarts of Heroism, Hardship and Dangerous Hobbies” with the last place.
The three eBooks are available on iTunes, Google Play and Barnes and Noble.
